Message you shouldn't have any issues with contacting the fender liners. It's essentially the same thing as putting a TT rear wheel on the front. Is there a chance that you still have wheel spacers on the fronts? Or are you running a larger width wheel, i.e. 9"? This would make the wheel sit 1/4" farther out and potentially make contact with the fender liner.

If you look at the chart below, you can see the offset calculations for an 18 x 8.5 wheel with 35mm offset (highlighted in yellow) is identical to the TT rear wheel measurements (the row highlighted in blue). For comparison, look at the 18 x 9 +35mm offset calculation (highlighted in red) and compare the measurements in the "WMS to outside lip" column and you'll see that the wheel sticks out an additional 1/4" (6.35mm to be exact) which could be enough to cause contact with the liner. This increase is equal on both the outside and inside of the wheel.

There could be other factors at play such as prior accident damage or, much less likely, alignment. How bad is the contact? Is it ever so slight, or enough that it could wear a hole through the liner over time?

That's my $0.02....
